We have water :o)

So, luckily it was just the electrical part on the well pump so it only cost a couple hundred dollars. A new pump would've cost $900!
You really appreciate things like that when you don't have it. Especially when you have 3 kids in diapers and don't have water to wash your hands, lol. Don't worry, I got bottled water, lol.
I'm still working on the laundry and getting the housework caught up so we can head out again next weekend to help with the house. Hubby and his brother managed to get the outer framing done so they want to work on the interior walls and get the trusses up. Poor brother in law shot himself in the hand with the nail gun :o( If you read this I hope you're feeling better. The nail bounced off the board and went right in by his thumb. Weird though because it didn't hit any bones and it didn't bleed. He said the tet shot in his arm hurt more than the nail hole :o)
The kids had so much fun playing in the mud with their little cousin McKenzie. She's 2 so they just think she's awesome. "J" especially loves her because he's only 6.5 months older than her so she's his buddy :o)
I also got to catch up with my Grandparents and some other relatives. My BFF Amy came and visited with her youngest daughter who is 8 so "A" was just loving that. It was great to catch up with everyone.
I came home and went out to the garden to find 1/2 of a paper bag full of tomatoes, green peppers, and green beans! And that didn't include the 30 or so cherry tomatoes I had to toss because they had split open from getting too big. I have so many tomatoes that they are coming out of my ears, lol. I'll have to make some more salsa and then freeze some. I guess if you freeze them whole, the skins will just fall off when you thaw them so you can make spaghetti sauce and things like that. Works for me :o)

  1. Yay! Water again!

We lived without a dryer for awhile in the old house and it was awful because we didn't have a clothesline. When I thought my washer was dead I as desperate. I can only imagine the horrors of no running water!!!!
