These are the "boots" that I made for her that go over her AFO braces and her shoes. They are made from Malden Mills fleece and keep her plastic braces from getting cold and freezing her legs in this cold MN weather. I was going to make them more fitted but they would've been harder to get on and off. The bottom of them is rectangle, like a purse, so her foot sits flat and the rest is roomy. I did end up changing the ribbon with a shoestring because it was easier to tie and not so slippery.
