It's also a school project so we had to take lots of pics...We finally took out the bean pit for P tonight. She's in her glory...
For those of you that don't know. It's a turtle sand box with 80 lbs of dry pinto beans. It is the biggest mess but she loves it and it does wonders for her motor skills. We take it out in the winter when she can no longer play outside in the real sand.
She played in it tonight until 8:30, then she hopped into the movie room and started whining because there wasn't a movie on, so Daddy put in her boyfriend (Elmo) to watch. Then about 1/2 hour later she started whining again and, of course, Daddy knows exactly what she needs, a drink :o) She might not be able to talk but she sure knows how to get what she wants. She'll lay on her Dora couch, drink her milk, and watch her movie until about 10:00 when she'll finally fall asleep. Then Daddy will carry her upstairs and put her in her bed. She'll wake up between 12 and 2 am, and Daddy will go and get her and bring her in to our bed. I'll give her some melatonin and she'll watch toons and fall asleep. She gets up for the day anywhere between 4:30 and 7 am. She'll actually sleep through the night in her own bed about once every few months. We don't mind though - she's awesome! :o)
