I just got a Caringbridge update on a gal I used to work with. She died this morning of brain cancer. Amy was a wonderful person who always had a smile to go along with her quiet voice and bubbly personality. I remember the day she come into my office to tell us that she had gotten engaged. She had only known her new fiance for a couple of months but she was SO excited and nervous at the same time. He turned out to be a wonderful man that has stood by her side for almost 2 years as she has suffered and battled with all she had.
She gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Rose, in Nov. of 2006. A month later, right at Christmas time, she found out that she had brain cancer. She went through hell and gave it hell.
It is definitely a good day for rain because a ray of light has stopped shining.
Click on her name and you can read more about her on her Caringbridge site.
